Most men wear whatever underwear they’ve always worn and never think about it again. That’s a reasonable position until you try something properly made and realise how much the waistband alone changes the experience. One that sits flat under trousers rather than rolling. One that doesn’t dig in after a few hours at a desk or a long day on your feet. The waistband is the thing. It’s where cheap construction announces itself and where a well made pair earns its price immediately.

We’ve been looking at options where the elastic is woven into the construction properly, where it holds its shape after repeated washing, and where it sits where it’s supposed to sit without needing adjusting. Fabric matters too. Cotton with a little stretch, modal blends that feel noticeably different against skin. These aren’t interesting until they’re the only thing you want to wear. That’s the point we’ve reached, and these are the pairs that got us there.
