The tapered jogger had its moment and we understand why it happened. Clean lines, easy to wear, looked fine with a trainer. But fine is not what we are after here. Wide leg joggers done properly carry a different kind of weight, a more considered silhouette that looks like a decision rather than a default. The problem has always been execution. Too much volume in the wrong fabric and you look like you have forgotten to get dressed. The ones we have picked avoid that entirely. We were looking specifically for pairs where the waistband sits properly, the fabric has enough structure to hold the shape through a full day, and the leg opens gradually rather than collapsing. These work with a clean tee and low profile trainer, but also with a fitted knit and something more substantial on foot. Comfortable enough to wear all day. Sharp enough that comfort is not the only thing they have going for them.
