Most men own too many jumpers that do too little. They look fine on the hanger, they seemed reasonable in the shop, and then in practice they pill after three washes, lose their shape by November, or sit so awkwardly over a collar that you stop bothering. We have been through a lot of knitwear to get to this point and our position is fairly simple: a jumper worth reaching for every day needs to earn that place through cut, yarn quality, and the kind of versatility that means it works on a Tuesday morning as well as a Saturday evening. We are particularly interested here in pieces that sit well untucked, layer without adding bulk, and improve rather than deteriorate with wear. Merino and lambswool do most of the heavy lifting in this edit. Crew necks, V necks, and the occasional half zip for the man who wants options. These are the ones that stay in rotation all season.
