Navy does a specific job that black and grey simply cannot. It reads as considered rather than accidental, works against almost every other colour in a wardrobe, and somehow manages to look intentional even when you have clearly just thrown something on. A good navy hoodie is one of those pieces you stop noticing because it works so reliably. The problem is most of them are not actually good. The fabric is too thin, the hood collapses, the cuffs bag out after six washes, and the whole thing starts looking defeated far too quickly. We have been paying attention to weight, construction, and how the fit holds up over time rather than just how it photographs on a model. Pullover or zip through, we have kept the standard consistent. The ones here have earned their place in a wardrobe that takes the casual end of dressing as seriously as the formal end. Navy this good does not need company.
