The grey hoodie is probably the most worn and least considered item in most men’s wardrobes. It just gets grabbed. Which is fine, until you notice that the one you keep reaching for is bobbling at the cuffs and bagging out in places it definitely should not be. The problem is not the grey hoodie as a concept. The problem is buying one without thinking about it. We have been looking specifically at options where the fabric has enough weight to hold its shape through a winter, where the cut works tucked into trousers as well as thrown over joggers, and where grey actually means something. Not the washed out nothing shade. A proper mid or charcoal grey that works with almost everything in your wardrobe. Some of these are built for the sofa. Some are sharp enough to wear out. All of them are worth the thought you probably did not put into the last one.
