Most men sleep on beige. They reach for white or grey out of habit and never stop to consider what they're missing. Blue is the easiest colour a t-shirt can be and also somehow the one men most frequently get wrong. Not the shade, necessarily. The fit. The fabric. The way it either looks like something or looks like nothing. We've spent enough time around well dressed men to know that the ones who look good in a plain t-shirt aren't doing anything complicated. They've just found the right weight of cotton, the right shoulder seam placement, and a cut that works whether it's tucked into trousers or worn over shorts on a Saturday morning. The t-shirts in here are not trying to be interesting. That is entirely the point. No branding, no washes designed to look vintage, no excessive cropping. Just blue, well made, and cut in a way that flatters without fuss. Navy through to a faded mid-blue, because both have their place and a man should own at least one of each. Green is harder to wear than it looks, and most men either avoid it entirely or buy the wrong shade and wonder why it sits unworn. The problem is almost never the colour. Orange is the colour most men talk themselves out of before they've even tried it. Too loud, they think. Too much. But the right orange t-shirt, in the right weight and the right shade, is actually one of the easier things to build an outfit around. Burnt orange sits closer to a neutral than people give it credit for. Rust tones work with navy, olive, stone, and denim without asking much of you at all. What we've been looking for here is the combination of a shade that earns its place and a shirt that's actually made well enough to justify buying. Fabric weight matters. Most men avoid pink because they've seen it done badly and filed it away as someone else's problem. That's a mistake. The right shade of pink in a well cut T shirt is one of the easiest wins in a summer wardrobe. It works with navy, it works with stone, it works with washed denim in a way that white and grey have been getting credit for without earning it. Red is a colour that rewards confidence and punishes carelessness in equal measure. Get it wrong and you look like you're trying to be noticed. Most men play it safe with t-shirts. White, grey, navy, repeat. And that works, we are not dismissing it. But yellow is the colour that separates a wardrobe that is merely functional from one that actually has something to say. The problem is that yellow is unforgiving.
