The oversized cardigan sits in a complicated place in menswear. Worn badly it looks like you borrowed something from a larger relative and never gave it back. Worn well it is one of the most considered things you can put on. The difference is almost entirely in how you wear it rather than how it fits, which sounds counterintuitive until you realise that the cut still matters enormously even when volume is the point.
