True to history, it\u2019s made of ring-spun warp and weft yarns of irregular thickness, as was often the case back then for workwear fabrics. The dark but not blackish indigo warp, dyed with pure indigo, is also true to its heritage.With wear and washing, the yarns will interact and you\u2019ll reap the rewards of heavier ring-spun denim: obvious loops, pleasing crosshatching and a mottled effect. It\u2019s the irregular warp and weft threads that produce the hatch effect, and the integrated tension formed by the threads that produces the marbled effect after washing.
